Poetry / Death Did Us Part
Further from recognition I grew
Disabled and unable;
breathing in waves of oxygen distateful and untrue.
Closer to you i flew
Two steps forward,
as I forcefully retraced the backbeats of clarity you brought into a room.
In waves of uncertainty, I panic.
Self inflicted impurities
The rarest of repetetive lies serve no justice to the joyous,
innate purity you left in the depths of my consciousness.
A jumpstart on my headstart
Headstrong, where I belong.
Abolishment of disparity,
Staying paralell with what’s carrying me.
You’re my saving grace

I like the lines that start with:
“in waves..”
“a jumpstart..”
I gather from the title this is about losing someone but until you got to the last four lines I just couldn’t follow this.
Funny though, it has a soft and mournful rhythm, yet at the end sweet.
I’d like you to tell me about it.
