Poetry / Catch myself

I catch myself,
watching words so they come out right.
I catch myself,
trying to please everyone.
I catch myself,
going with joke when my gut tells
me go against it.
I catch myself,
arguing with a god
I claim cannot exist.
I catch myself,
pride does go before a fall.
So, I catch myself before I trip.
I catch myself,
angry at soo much injustice.
I catch myself,
not doing anything. Words
are empty without action.
I catch myself,
and I wonder what it would be
like to just let go.
And then I catch myself.

I like the humor side it ended with, I was worried that it was going to go to dark. The one line, words are empty without actions doesn’t fit there, for me.
I like the line though, maybe in another…I catch my self (I don’t know how to say it) Overall I like it.
