I’m new to the writing genre. This is slowly becoming a new passion for me and a way to express my feelings…plus it’s cheaper than therapy:-) All suggestions are welcome, with the exceptions of really obvious things like lack of commas, that’s a run on sentence, and “don’t use that word.” Most of what I do is intentional because its the way I wanted things to flow in the moment, howeever, I love suggestions on changing the set up of the work to make it flow better.

Your writing style flows very well. It was an easy read and interesting. I was unsure of how the conversation between Peggy and Joe ties in, but I have not read the other chapters. Also, Dave's character seems detatched, I didn't think his leaving her the way he did was believable, unless you want your readers to dislike them. If that is the case, mission accomplished. The way you describe the characters is very detailed and does a great job of giving the reader an image.
This was perfect, I plan to read the other chapters. Thank you for sharing.
