fourth year student at University of California at Davis. studying English and Creative Writing. esp. interested in Native American women’s poetry, Joyce, e.e. cummings, etc. applied for the master’s prog. in creative writing at Davis for the fall. hopefully i get in. :]
my work has appeared in “Suisun Valley Review”, “Seele: the undergraduate literary magazine of UC Davis”, and in the upcoming anthology “Produce”.
i am also a musician. i play the keys and i am also the lyricist for the black metal band MORITURI.

"doing dishes" dried spaghetti on a black plate; scrape the entrail mess like you would a dead rabbit off the road or the film from your eyes. circling, circling the suds eat the grime; it reminds you of a clock. how long have you been sinking, bacon-grease-fingered, wandering in one place? you know by heart the sound of key forced into lock, so when you hear it you will jet dry your streaks just in time to sparkle up at him, plated and lemon-fresh.

i think that some imagery would might ground all of the abstract stuff going on here. also, you might think about experimenting with form-- that might lend a visual aspect. the last two stanzas are the best, in my humble opinion. cheers!
