I’ve been writing ever since I can remember, but I’ve never attempted to publish anything. In the past, my writing has been mostly therapeutic. I took an English Composition course for a college program and my Profressor said that I should consider publishing some of my writing, so I started thinking more seriously about it. I’m definitely open to constructive criticism. I’ve looked around at some profiles and read some writers’ pieces, and I think I can learn a lot in here. I chose the user name “phoenix2007” because the phoenix signifies rebirth…a rising out of the ashes, of sorts. Being newly divorced, I found it an appropriate choice.
