I find poetry to be hard to write...especially haikus! I am fond of "Blackberry Winter" and "Reflections Of Me". Both have great imagery and feel more personal. In "Blackberry Winter", I can feel and see your haiku come to life. It comes to life for just an instant and disappears as quickly as it is read...though the memory of it lasts. "Reflections Of Me" is something I as a reader can relate to. It is human. Almost as if you can touch it's skin...if that makes any sense.

Pure loneliness. I think you really captured the torture of feeling/being completely alone in this world. Agony. Beautiful.

Wow…that made me cry. It also sent me into a panic…but that’s okay. It’s great actually…for you that is. I feel that you portrayed the drinking problems of a parent and the consequences of it so well, that it made me almost relive the darker sides of my childhood. I felt as if I was watching it play before my eyes…yet I was a safe distance away. Almost like watching a screwed up home movie. This is incredibly well written. I can definitely connect to “I Knew”, yet I still felt safe reading it...
