I like this. It's a neat way to show how all of these things are interconnected. I'll admit that without the background, the connection between Jesus and Perseus would have seemed like a stretch, but I like how you connected Greek myth with science and with Christian theology. I always enjoy finding parallels between different beliefs. Kudos.
I love this image. It made me smile. A sort of "marches to the beat of his own drum" for the next generation. Individuality is key. Great Job!
A nice little saying, but I think it is lacking much of the bang that some of the really great entries have. It's nice on the surface, but there's nothing underneath. I can't see into who you are as much with this one, but perhaps I just missed it.... Good try tho, better luck next time.
I like the overall feeling of the peice, but I feel that some of its wording could be revamped for a stronger punch. The first one that hit me was "fake facade." I'd personally take fake out, too redundant, but that's me. I think your fourth stanza is good, but you can probably find I different way to get the same image across. As it is, it stands out from the rest of the work. That may be what you want, but I think there is a way you can make it mesh and stand out all at once. I won't tell y...
I have to say, I think this is my favorite thing I have read on this site. Ever. That being said, I need something constructive... At points it has a very songlike quality, and others, it completely does not. But it works, very effectively, I'd say. The imagery is beautiful, my favorite is the final two lines of the second stanza. You seem to break the pattern/feel of the peice in very well thought out places, I love the way it works. Kudos.
I had never heard a spider called sleeping lovers before, but that was an awesome image. I especially like the title, using death is especially appropriate considering that an orgasm used to be called "the little death." Kudos, you know your stuff.
The only grammatical thing I saw was in your second stanza, first line: clothes not cloths. I like this, it's a different perspective on suicide. Told from the clarity one assumes is achieved after death. Keep working on this, I'd love to hear it played some day.
This is a cute and creative one. It's coming from a different angle. I don't know if it's what they're looking for. If they have the right sense of humor, it could just work. Cool stuff.
