My philosophy as writer, or as an artist can be summed up in one thought, “Art is to the Artist what Faith is to the priest. It is not something just do, an act creating… it something that we live and breath and defines our very existence and being.”
I write an array of writings, varying from poetry, short stories, plays, novels and children stories, and I have dance and theatre experience as well. My hope is to finish my novel that has ten years worth of research and character development that explores the nobility of man’s nature and questions the human condition and existence through one man and many lives that he comes to touch upon and experience.
I Hope to enjoy sharing and learning from fellow writers.

I sent a play off to an agent who I looked up in the yellow pages, and called up and contacted. I told them a little about myself, and they sounded interested and told me to send them a play. So I did, did the poor man copyright thing, and sent it registered mail. Now the agency seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth and no longer the professional greeting asks you to leave a message, only the voice of the woman to whom I talked with. What to do about this I really don't know, and...

Maje’ By Gavion E. Chandler " Chapter One µ “Ah see you have wakened. Good… oh you haven’t truly accepted. It takes a bit of faith. No you’re not going mad… well you’re not mad as any other CC that governs ‘Aspects’. I’m sorry ‘CC’ Carnal Consciousness, human aspects of reality, the principle force of conscious reality. That’s you.” A slight chuckle echoing in some deep whisper of consciousness of your mind. “Oh please don’t think me rude, please I meant no offense, just remembering, ‘We’ No...

'Midst solitudes of wild flowers and crowns White with golds... swaying to winds' silent breath... Upon threads of lances... here abides this quiet throne Still and stone-poised 'gainst its standing hours... Once in days of seasons, When fleeting crowns of glory danced in its towering beauty... and earthly angels nestled in finding comfort and rest in its embrace... it remembers those gentler days in those spells of winds whispered in days... where songs of children danced and played in shado...

It starts out so innocent, and then spirals into a dark and morouse. THis would make an excellent Cereal Killer epilogue.. nicely done. By the way I could never write in verse. Scaramouche... in Twilight's Shadow... a Dream...
your scenes and interaction of characters flow very nicely and your invention of the sailors and their peasant songs reminds me of Monty Python and Sir Robin and band of Minstrels, who was eaten and everybody cheered. I don't know what was the the fist act was like, but it is done very well. The created relationships between Robin, Lancelot, Guinevere, and the others is well done and humorous. Of what I have read I like it as for improvements, or suggestions I really don't have any because I d...

It is a very sentimental piece, and the flow of your words paint pretty affections and the fact that I could never write in rhyme, well I give you kudos for that. Your sense of imagery is appealing, but as for being published in an anthology it would depend upon the publisher. Most likely it is publishable and it is a pleasing enough piece. All in all I liked it. Scaramouche... in Twilight's Shadow... a Dream...
Wisdom is a grain of salt in a wound that hurts an ego that is not willing to be honest with itself. You take the good and bad with everything, and just plain honest advise. Your blog was presented in a gentleman fashion and I don't think it will give any one cause to gripe so thank you. Gavion E. Chandler
