We have starving, abused children in our own city. They don’t have a clean bed to sleep in, don’t have the privilege of getting to eat a bowl of cereal in the morning, and wont get to eat dinner some nights. They might even get hit or yelled at for saying something about it. And we say “that’s sad, but I can’t save everyone”. I’m sure you’ve donated money to the cause.
