I like this poem. I like how the lines get longer and more detailed at the protagonist ages. It's reminiscent of Joyce's "Portrait of an Artist as a Young Man." I think my favorite part of the poem is that last sentence, there's something very whimsical about it that I totally dig. I think the images could probably be more clear, especially the fourth sentence. I had to read that a couple of times before I got it. All-in-all though, keep up the good work!
