i am a pseudo-intellectual who hides behind the facade of a whipsmart bookworm with shiny black hair, bright blue eyes, and a sweet smile. I have high hopes of becoming a writer, but on a smaller scale, getting into my college of choice. i like to think that i’ve got promise.

It is well known that there once was a day when a younger Hamlet dueled an even younger Fortinbras. Days rolled in and out and games unfolded, girls stopping in the courtyard to roll down their white-ribbed knee-socks for periodic exposure to frigid winds. Our Hamlet smoothes down her thick bangs in a yellow-tiled bathroom. Fortinbras scribbles equations and theories of calculus in a group of twenty-two. Outside the school dead leaves are picked up and thrown at the windows. The sun peeks in ...

Eyes glittering with sincerity like the eyes of silverscreen starlets gazing reflecting the pain in this world back at its origin. How clandestine a ritual, to open ones mouth and find a solitary violet perched on the tounge.

I woke up this morning to Ganga raking her fingers through her matted black hair. She smiled at me and placed in my hand a cluster of stars that screamed so brightly I let them go like six balloons rising into the clouds.

Short Story / You Can Be Lawrence
i really liked this story. i found the descriptions of Rotto and his surroundings very good, i was able to picture what he looked like, what Sally's mother looked like, and where he was. the dream sequence in the beginning was a bit difficult to understand, maybe you were purposely trying to achieve this. if you weren't, i'd clear up where he is. i wasn't sure where the ledge was, what was going on etc. dreams are difficult to understand, so maybe no explanation is needed. the story line is u...
Lyrics / Plateau of Death
its a good song. i was taken aback by the end, more violent and more vulgar. which is all good, if that's what you're going for. the song kind of conveys a dwelling or lamentation on death and some kind of fear that many people will be able to relate to. very interesting, and with actual music might attract many.
