My name is Melissa. I am a baby of 1980 and an amature poet from Morgantown West Virginia. I like to refer to my craft as creative literatry expression as oppose to poetry because people have so many preconcieved notions about what “poetry” is suppose to be.
When I am not writing I am in law school and spending time with loved ones.

Well, I' not pregnant again. The thought glows, a burning bulb in my mind, like my dome light left on draining my battery, ultimatly my will to live. I've tried. God knows I've tried. Men...I've had my oil changed, radio played, radiator rattled, carborator cuddled, and my spark pugs jiggled. I've even had my tank filled with regular and premium in the same day, But i'm not pregnant again. This is beautiful! I love the images you have created for me. I feel very peaceful. I always thought of fall as a time of revelation. As the trees shed their green their true colors emerge in fiery reds and yellows. These colors always remind me that every once in a while it's okay to show what you really are and people will appreciate you in a unique way. You can always go back to the way you were before.

How It Came to Be That I Watched an Episode of Some Lame Reality TV Show
Wow, this is quite the story. I persoanlly like the use of animals. It makes the story kinda funny! Cheating is so uncool. I think the reason we hate cheating so much is not because our boyfriend or girlfriend slept with another person, but because they didn't tell us. You see, I think that the deception behind the act hurts more than the actual act itself. I was once cheated on and I DID get the satisfaction of catching that littler ferret in the act. This is a great piece. This is a good first chapter. I think the description is good. The character development is moving along nicely. I think the damage the cat does is a little much. I have never seen one cat realisticly do that much damage (shredding pants from the knee down). I would tone the cat down a little, not too much though. I also like the characer development. I would also change the fact that she sommersaults into her apartment to get away from a cat. Maybe have her trap the ca...
