I am 14 and live in Toronto, Canada.
Thus, I am Canadian. We spell things differently (colour, centre, favourite, etc.). Don’t freak out. =)
Also, a few people have asked about my photo. It doesn’t have a deep meaning, though it is my own photo of my own work.
Another FAQ: I’m a guy, if you were wondering. =)

Without thinking, he twitched his facial muscles in an attempt to get some of the dri...

Many people would rather be dead, actually, and many people would say that nobody "gives" life; rather that it is created. It's all a bit religious for my taste. Secularize it and I'd be more interested.
It's a very Family-Circus-style sense of humour that was more popular 60 years ago, but it's making a comeback. Might work!
Other than the word "folk" which sounds too silly, quite thought-provoking.
If this is to be a prologue about a character whom I am to care about, I am going to need to like the character a lot more. I know nothing about our protagonist and as such don't care about Death in His chariot racing towards him, or the mysterious twins, or any of it, really. That and their names are David and Davina, which sort of makes me hate them. It just seems so dull and uninteresting. Also, I hate the whole "worshipping Death as a God and Capitalizing Words related to Him" thing. Don'...
