The sun setting is just as beautiful as the sun rise The autumn leaves show their colors strongest just before they die Like a kiss that has more meaning when it's love is in full bloom And as in the aging of fine wine...the waiting is a pleasure, when the taste is sweet perfume! The creases in the forehead show that worry was a friend The eyes are slowly dimming when we're closest to the end The fine gray hairs frame faces like the shinning rays of sun The pace may be much slower but the miss...

How could one ever create, A creature who could be so filled with hate? Who takes such joy from hurting one, Whose only goal was kindness done? What kind of man could spend his life, Creating pain and grief and strife; To every soul he ever touched..and.. Convinced them all he cared so much? Whose tender touch could turn to ice..and.. Make the wisest man think twice? And never once would it cross his mind That he was nothing less than kind. Who is this creature roaming earth, Possessed by evi...

I'm not going to say, the words you want to hear. I won't condone your actions, I won't calm your fear. I won't tell you it will be alright, I won't tell you it's okay. I won't even shed a tear, if you decide to walk away. In an hour of passion, it's choices one does make, And feelings get discarded, and someone's heart will break. The truest love you've lost, To selfish, loveless needs. The highest price you'll pay Are for thoughtless words and deeds.

I look in awe at our family tree. So many leaves, one which is me! Some may be withered, some even die, Some bring us joy, some make us cry. Some are a crisp green, all fresh and new Some share a rainbow of colors Some have an autumn's hue. And with the morning's sunrise They glisten in the glow And from the rain of a tender love Our tree shall always grow! Though I may not be there, to see it in full bloom My heart is always near to watch, a new leaf sprout While the others give it room.

I enjoyed reading this and yea...reality is sometimes too real. Everyone needs to escape! I especially liked your final thought and phrasing...The "true reality" is you still have control. Great talent..good luck:):)
Terrific..great quote and sooooo true:)
very discriptive thoughts and feelings. I enjoyed reading this and I think you have an awful lot of potential. You express yourself well with your thoughts so that your reader is able to visualize. Keep up the writing!
