When people want to talk to me, or get my attention, they use the word ‘zoe.’ It has two dots above the e, both because it is a greek word, and so it has an eeee sound at the end. One of my friends decided it should have a silent k on the end. It then became zoek. The k never did turn out to be used silently though, so it is pronounced more like “zoeekay.” Then another one of my friends and I decided to use x’s instead of z’s… like in xylophone. I am seventeen and a half plus a bit more revoloutions around the sun old and soon it will be eighteen and that will be grand. I think out loud, smile at anyone and everyone, love to sleep. I, have, a, comma, fetish, apparently. I create: songs, melodies, beats, paintings, drawings photos, scul…

Fgjjkhgkjhggah!!!!!! It is 12:51 AM I just wrote a huge big blog, upon request (and was still half way through only!) and then, accidentally clicked the file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Zoe%20Ryan/Desktop/vtaq/access_equity_files/seas-header_03.gif tab that just appeared on the toolbar of my browser one day. I don’t know what it is, or how it got there, but it’s been pissing me off since the day it appeared there. It seems to be located approximately where the mouse happens to click when...

The technological development of the 1900’s is reflected well by the sculptures of the artists of the time within their individual movements and the changing attitudes of society towards machinery and technology are reflected in the works and the ideologies of the movements. Whilst some artists, like the Boccioni and futurists saw cause for celebration, others like Epstein and the Vorticists could see the potentially destructive force that lies within the core of technological development and...

Killer Highway (Whats ahead of me) If you had one moment Would you spend it here in this place And if you had one question Would you ask it face to face 'Cos time is abstract in this concept Theres no inept, only consequence While we wait, wait in silence For peaceful violence We whisper to the wind Whisper to the wind... Well I believe its all a dream And the more we wake the more real it seems So as I wake, I'll only take just a second to see Whats ahead of me Should we wait 'til monday? Or...

Life is never perfect all of the time. When it's not we must remember a time when it felt like it was, and know inside ourselves that it will be like that again soon.

Today walking home from school my already quite enjoyable day took an unfortunate turn when I was targeted by a young boy throwing rocks. There I was... innocently walking home minding my own business, walking up my own hill (by that of course I mean the hill I have lived on for eight or more years, a nice country town hill of road where fitness junkies or unlucky residents often take the steep descent) when I noticed there were these rocks being thrown at me by this little boy standing in hi...

Screenplay / Silence Must Be Heard
wow, this is very unique. in some parts it reminds me of a soapie, with some of the dialogue etc, but your magical settings and descriptions remind me of some japanese animated films i've seen, like spirited away. I like what you;ve developed with the prison, very futuristic and the whole silence thing is done well, with the text appearing on their mouth plates, i like that. I think the plot has left me a little confused though, this is probbably because of having to read it rather than see i...
Great piece, you have a lovely style of writing that makes your piece easy to read, understand and appreciate. I like your references to 'the butterfly effect' and the way you explain it in your argument. I also like the comparison between the vietnam war along with this war that you speak of, a current war I assume, like the iraq war, and world war two. I believe though, that you are not alone in your recognition of wasted efforts. After studying the vietnam war, I myself noted that similari...
i am not a mother, so i guess i dont relate to the song in that sense, but i really appreciate the depth of language and the beauty of the poetry you have used here. you have emotively communicated your feelings here and that is the gift of a good song writer... well done ... as a musician i see this as a longer song, and to slower music... i can hear it in my head... sounds nice :)
